're the parents of both super bowl head coaches. who do you root for? jack and jackie harbaugh have that problem right now. older son john coaches the baltimore ravens while younger son jim coaches the san francisco 49ers and when their parents spoke to the media, it was john who had fun with it. >> our next question comes from john from baltimore. your line is open. >> caller: yeah, question from baltimore, is it true that both of you liked jim better than john? >> i do not. john harbaugh! >> is that john harbaugh? these two teams and john harbaugh is the coach of the ravens. >> he met with the ravens spokesman yesterday morning and issued a statement saying they stand behind everything that he says. they are backing up basically whatever ray lewis says. >> i want to touch on the other issue as well. this is a story that has dogged him for years. the murder from 2000, double murder he was embroiled in. he was asked about that yesterday. he was quite emphatic about his response. some people call him reverend ray. they say he's the story of redemption. carol costello did a terrific story about that in her earlier hours here on cnn. is he ever going to be able to leave what happened in atlanta at super bowl 2000 or does he say he lives with this every day and will continue to live with it every day until he dies? >> in a sense i think he's left it behind already. he moved on. he had one of the greatest careers of any linebacker in nfl history. i understand that my report and the murder allegations are getting a lot of interest this week but 99% of the time for people that follow the sporting press, it id

's how big the harbaugh story is. jim's 49ers arrived on sunday, as we did. they were right in the middle of mardi gras. these were the scenes all weekend long here in new orleans. you had parades, floats, beads being tossed, drinking. regular saturday and sunday here in new orleans. new orleans having the super bowl and mardi gras, they would have it no other way. >> super bowl next weekend, we can't wait. it will be a great time in the city. everybody will be having a lot of fun. >> nfl, we're excited the super bowl is here. can't wait. ta's going to be a great thing for the city. >> the city is electric right now. between, you know, mardi gras, the super bowl, mardi gras had to be pushed up a week. we've got pretty much an entire month of partying, which we're used to. new orleanians can handle it. >> if you think there's a break in the action, there actually will be this week. all those parades have unfolded over the weekend. we'll take a break this week, let the super bowl play out and they'll get started again after the super bowl. >> those are my people there in new orleans. they k

jim harbaugh and safety ed reed firing up the crowd if that is what you want to call that singing. the ravens are expected to arrive in the big easy a little later today. as for their opponents, the 49ers, they arrived last night. the team spared no expense in keeping its players comfortable. the team upgraded its usual charter plane to a massive 747 here normally used for international flights. super bowl week rolls on tomorrow with always interesting media day. >>> and some pretty stunning rescue video. watch this. this is northeastern australia here. a helicopter hovering above. a mother stuffs her scared crying baby boy into a bag on the back of her truck stranded on a flooded road. the baby is hoisted away. but how about this for a favorite part. the baby popping his head out of the bag from the safety of the helicopter. what's going on? rescueres are still trying to reach hundreds of people stranded on rooftops and on cars. look at that fast water there. three people already have died. the flooding on the heels of devastating fires in australia. >>> a man accused of threaten
